Film links are a common mix-up in North Goa. Chapora Fort, the hilltop ruin in Dil Chahta Hai, sits across the Chapora estuary from Morjim, 13–15 km by road via Siolim. Seeing it from a hotel doesn't make that hotel a film location.

Several spaces can be closed for a private booking. From late December to March the beach itself goes dark at night for nesting turtles, which makes for quiet evenings on the sand.
