Beachfront lawn, VIP Terrace for 60 and AC Deck Lounge for private bookings.
For a private event space on the beach in Goa, Marbela Beach Resort on Morjim has four: an open-air VIP Terrace seating 60, an air-conditioned AC Deck Lounge, a small indoor club room and a beachfront lawn for large groups. Prices are not published, so the events team quotes each booking on its date and headcount.

Marbela's VIP Terrace is an exclusive open-air lounge with sea views that seats 60 guests, which makes it the natural choice for a party that wants the sunset without a lawn to fill. The terrace belongs to the Meso restaurant and bars, so food comes from Meso's kitchen: Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking with Asian and European influences, chargrilled kebabs, fresh seafood and freshly baked pizzas. According to the restaurant page, the bar makes signature cocktails from seasonal fruits and premium spirits, and a cake can come from the resort's Pâtisserie, since outside food, beverages and liquor are not allowed. Sixty is the seating limit. A guest list of 70 belongs on the lawn, or needs a standing format that the events team has agreed for your layout. For a sense of the terrace on an ordinary evening, read our guide to the VIP Terrace restaurant with sea views.
You can plan a group day party around Marbela Beach Club, but the club and pool are shared with other guests, so ask the events team which cabanas or areas can be reserved for your group. The club runs seven days a week from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with plush sunbeds, private cabanas, the pool and Ibiza-inspired house music from resident and guest DJs. A realistic day party arrives around noon, takes lunch in the cabanas, swims while the sun is high and gathers for the sunset set, which lands between about 6:00 and 7:10 PM depending on the month. The 10:00 PM close is fixed. Anything later needs a private space, so ask whether the night can continue in the indoor club room. Day pass, cabana and minimum-spend prices are not published; call or WhatsApp for current rates. The beach club page has a newsletter for parties and guest DJs, and our guide to a daytime beach party in Goa has more ideas.
Most groups can rule out two of the spaces within a minute.
Yes. The White Party has been Marbela's season party since 2010, which makes the beachfront lawn one of the longer-running party sites on this part of the coast. A journalist's account of the December 2016 edition describes a fashion show by designers Falguni Shane Peacock on the night, alongside international DJs, with owners Jaydeep and Sheetal Rajebhosale hosting. That is history, not a current listing, and it tells you what the space has handled rather than what it offers your group. Venue listings give the practical side. As of September 2026, WedMeGood lists the "Beach Lounge" at 700 seated and 1,000 floating, BookEventz (updated 30 March 2025) gives 500 theatre-style and 600 floating, and WeddingZ puts the open area at 350 seated. Plan to the lowest figure until the events team confirms your layout in writing.
Corporate groups can book the same spaces, with one clear limit: Marbela has no confirmed seminar hall, projector or AV setup, and no official meeting-room names or AV list are published anywhere as of September 2026. That shapes the format. A team dinner on the VIP Terrace works, and so does an end-of-offsite party on the lawn. A morning of slide presentations does not, unless the events team confirms in writing what screen and sound can be arranged. Send a list of needs (microphones, a screen, a lectern, power points) before anyone signs. Multi-day offsites are covered in our corporate retreat venue guide.
Mainly from late December to March, Morjim is a protected Olive Ridley nesting beach, and bright lights and loud noise on the sand disturb nesting turtles. For evening events in those months, point lighting away from the beach, skip fireworks and sky lanterns, and follow any instructions from forest staff. Plan the loudest part of the party early, and ask the events team for the music cut-off in each space. BookEventz lists events from 7 AM to midnight, but the beach club's published hours end at 10 PM, so get the cut-off in writing.
Booking takes one phone call and four decisions.

No seminar hall, projector or AV setup is confirmed. Share your technical requirements with the events team in writing and ask what can be arranged.
No. Outside food, beverages and liquor are not allowed at Marbela, so the bar service comes from the resort.
Confirm it in writing. WedMeGood lists an in-house DJ and says outside DJs are not permitted, while The Wedding Company lists both, so ask the events team which applies to your space.
Several months ahead for November to February dates, and earlier still for Christmas and New Year, which are Goa's busiest weeks.
Several listings, including WeddingZ and The Wedding Company, mention valet parking for about 100 vehicles. Confirm it for your date with the events team on +91 91588 81180.
