What time is check-in and check-out at Marbela?

Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, and both are fixed unless you arrange otherwise.

Your flight lands at Mopa before 2 PM. Now what?

Work backwards from the drive. Manohar International Airport at Mopa is about 28–30 km from Morjim, roughly 50–60 minutes by road, and a sedan taxi typically costs around ₹1,000–1,500. Add time for bags and the taxi queue, and a flight that lands at 11 AM usually puts you at the resort around 12:15 PM. Your room is booked from 2 PM, so you have close to two hours to fill. Meso and the beach club both open at 11 AM, which means lunch facing the Arabian Sea and a spell on a sunbed are both available while you wait. Ask reservations in advance whether your bags can be held. A 7 AM landing is a different problem. Arriving at 8:15 AM and waiting six hours rarely feels like a holiday, so book the previous night and walk straight into your room. It costs a night's rate, but it's the only guarantee.

How can you stretch the last day after an 11 AM check-out?

Treat the room and the day as separate things. Marbela Beach Club stays open until 10 PM and Meso until 11 PM, so an evening flight doesn't have to mean an afternoon in the lobby. Two approaches work. The first is to request a late check-out when you book and again on arrival, accepting that it depends on who is arriving that day and that it costs extra. The second is to check out at 11 AM and spend the afternoon at the beach club, then eat an early dinner before the drive. For a flight at 9 PM from Mopa, leaving Morjim by about 6:30 PM keeps a sensible buffer, which still leaves time to watch the sun go down. Goa sunsets fall roughly between 6:00 PM and 7:10 PM depending on the month, so in winter you may catch it. Tell reservations your flight time early. It is the single most useful detail for them when they plan the day's rooms.

Is there free cancellation at a Goa beach resort?

Not at Marbela. There is no refund on cancellation or no-show, and 100% of the stay is charged, whether you booked directly or not. Tariffs can change without notice until you book. Many people search for flexible cancellation, so it's better you hear this clearly now: settle your dates, flight and group numbers before paying. The 31 December rule, children and other things that catch people out

A few policies change how you plan a stay.

• New Year: check-out on 31 December isn't permitted, so a stay that brushes New Year must run through the night of the 31st. Our New Year stay guide walks through the dates.
• Children: up to age 6 stay free without an extra bed. Above 12, they count as adults at ₹2,360 per night with an extra mattress.
• Food and drink: outside food, beverages and liquor aren't allowed.
• Pets: welcome, but mention them when you book so reservations can confirm the details.
