How much is a beach club day pass in Goa?

There is no single price for a beach club day pass in Goa, and the numbers you find online are usually out of date or belong to a different club. Four things set what you pay. The first is the charging model, since a cover charge and a minimum spend are not the same thing. The second is the season: November to February is peak, with the highest demand, while the June to September monsoon is low season. The third is the day, as weekends and long weekends cost more or carry higher minimums. The fourth is where you sit, a single sunbed or a private cabana with personalised service. Taxes may or may not be included in a quoted figure. Marbela Beach Club does not publish day pass, cabana or minimum-spend rates, because they move with all four of these. The only reliable number is the one the club gives you for your date, in writing.

The four ways Goa clubs charge for a day

Knowing which model a club uses is the first question, because it changes what a quoted number means.

Marbela's own past events show how much the model can change from one night to the next. For Djuma Soundsystem's IZIKI Sundays in the 2022–23 season, GigHub listed free entry before 5 PM. The Dubfire Masquerade on New Year's Eve 2022 was ticketed, from ₹3,000 according to the Free Press Journal, and LBB put New Year's Eve 2019 entry from ₹3,270. Those are dated special events, not day-pass prices, and nobody should quote them as a current rate.

What a day at Marbela Beach Club includes

A day at Marbela Beach Club gives you a place to spend 11 AM to 10 PM on Morjim Beach, with the sea on one side and the pool on the other. The club has plush sunbeds and private cabanas with personalised service, an outdoor pool next to the club for dips between cocktails, and house music from resident and guest DJs through the day, rising to a sunset set. Food comes from Meso, the bamboo restaurant on the same property, open 11 AM to 11 PM, where listed dishes run from ₹650 to ₹1,600. As of September 2026, Zomato estimates about ₹2,200 for two without alcohol, and Swiggy Dineout ₹1,800. Some things are not part of the day. The resort does not run water sports. Outside food, drinks and liquor are not allowed. Towels, lockers and changing space are worth asking about directly, rather than assuming.

Is a day visit or an overnight stay better value?

A day visit is better value for anyone staying elsewhere in North Goa for a single club day, while a night at the resort starts to make sense once the day stretches from late morning to 10 PM. Take a couple based in Anjuna. The drive each way is 35–45 minutes, and after a day of cocktails someone has to arrange a cab back in the dark. For the same couple, a room at Marbela means walking to bed. The club and pool are shared spaces either way, so what a room adds is the room itself, the drive you skip and a sunrise walk on Morjim. Check-in is 2 PM and check-out 11 AM, so arrive at the club for lunch and take the key afterwards. Compare the club's quote with live room rates, and note that room bookings are non-refundable and breakfast depends on the package. A day visit keeps you flexible. A night buys an easier evening.

When to book ahead

Walking in often works for a couple on a weekday outside peak season. Book in advance for a private cabana, any weekend or long weekend, the Christmas to New Year week, and any group. Between June and September, ask what is actually running: a guest who visited in the 2021 monsoon wrote on Agoda that the pool was closed and many cabanas were missing.
