Goa has more than its busy beach belt. These lesser-known spots offer quiet landscapes, local flavor, and a slower pace.

Hidden beaches and peaceful coastal corners

• Butterfly Beach - A small cove near Palolem, reachable by boat or a short trek. The water stays clear even in peak season.
• Galgibaga Beach - South Goa’s turtle nesting site. Visit early to see fishermen at work along the shore.
• Morjim Beach - Northern stretch known for kite-surfing and calm sunsets, 15 minutes from Pernem by taxi.
